Thank you for your interest in Gifts For Kids!

The overwhelming majority of inquiries concern how to be assigned one or more children to arrange gifts for. The answer to that is found in the Donor Information page, found easily in the Site Index at the top of the right-hand column. Sponsors are needed from November to December each year.

If you are interested in getting more involved in planning and organization, please let us know. We start planning in January.

Volunteer Opportunities

Gifts for Kids will need shoppers, people to go out in the days before collection to spend the money some people donate in lieu of buying gifts and clothing themselves. If you are interested, please alert the GFK staff using the Contact GFK page in the Index.

Become a classroom coordinator

Contact GFK (see Index) if you would like to organize donations from your child's classroom or school. One class of 25 children can usually sponsor 2 children for the holidays.

For Girl and Boy Scouts

Organizing a gift collection for one child or a family is a wonderful and rewarding community service activity for Scouts. For more information, contact GFK using the contact page in the Index.

How can you help?

> Donations of new, unused clothing and toys for children aged birth to 18 > Sponsor one child for $75 to $100 > Sponsor a teenage mother & child for $125 > Sponsor a family of 4 children for $350 > Donate gift certificates from local businesses in any amount (WalMart, Target, Stop & Shop, Best Buy, Old Navy, Dunkin' Donuts, etc.)
